Graduation: One step closer

On Sunday 22 May, 2005 I was recognized to recieve my B.A. in Asian Studies from Berea College. I got say that the ceremony was awesome, despite the fact that I did not receive my degree. Hearing Desmond Tutu's speech was incredible, the weather was perfect, and I saw all my friends that I might never see again, which is sad. My mother was here for all the festivities, and she was absolutely tickled. This was her first time in Berea, and I think that she was impressed by the college, she met many of my friends, and professors, and got to see me graduate. I have mad appreciation to my mother, she has been through alot to keep me alive. I am glad that she was able to experience Berea.

My work is still not done, have one more class to take, and I must begin planning my year in Dharamsala. These past couple of weeks are the prelude to what is to come. This is all I have for now. Stay tuned.

Excitement

Though I have not graduated just yet, my future propects are exciting nonetheless. My dreams of going to India are finally being fulfilled, through the hands of those who thought my cause worthwhile. To them I dedicate my words, for this will be impossible with you.
